Check out this review of Little Boy Blue – MJ Arlidge

Here is a review by Sharon:

First of all I would like to give a huge thanks to Netgalley and Penguin UK-Michael Joseph for the opportunity to review an ARC of Little Boy Blue in return for an honest review.
in this 5th book of the series, DI Helen Grace finds her dark secrets are about to come back and haunt her. When a body is found in a nightclub the connection to Helen’s private life is in real danger of being exposed. The pressure mounts on Helen and it takes its toll on her professional life.
I don’t want to say anything more about the plot as I want readers to savour every moment of the book.
I literally could not put it down and even contemplated calling in sick to work to allow me to read it in just one sitting (I didn’t though!)
This, for me, is the best in the series yet, Helen Grace has always been a complex character and this book develops that complexity even further, her relationships within the force are questioned not only by herself but by those around her. This book is beautifully chilling, gripping and sensational; it is fast paced and intriguing and it will leave you breathless and not wanting to put it down, yet at the same time wanting to savour every minute of the pages!
Trust me – this is one book you MUST read in 2016 – MJ Arlidge – you have smashed it!
