Thank you to Netgalley and Publisher for ARC in return for an honest review . I finished this earlier today and I’m just starting to release the tension in my body now! Every family’s fear – your 15 year old goes missing and there is no trace of him at all. The Missing is a tale of a family’s anguish and devastation after 15 year old Billy goes missing – each of them with their own sense of guilt over what happened, the book delves deep into the dynamics of family life and the knock on effect our action have. I read this as a mum through the eyes of Claire and her anguish at the not knowing, when she had her blackouts I keenly felt her confusion when she came round, I felt her pain, her sense of helplessness and her suspicions of those all around her.A deep psychological thriller that will leave you thinking long after you finish reading it!
