Book Launch – Michael J Malone

What a fabulous night for Michael’s launch of A Suitable Lie in Waterstones, Argyle St.

Despite the dark subject matter, Caro Ramsay managed to inject her own brand of humour and wit into the event as per usual! Michael even gave the audience an insight into his Oscar winning acting talents with a few lines from Carry On Sleuthing – what a Yorkshire accent he does!

A great turnout and I finally got to meet the lovely Karen Sullivan from Orenda Books – what a genuinely lovely lady she is! So supportive of not only her authors but also of the blogging community – thank you Karen – we all appreciate it so much! And she gave me a wee surprise copy of Louise Beech’s “The Mountain in My Shoe” – heard so many good things about this book – I can’t wait to read it!

As part of National Book week authors are issuing all readers a dare – Michael dares readers to read all of his books (that they haven’t yet read – you mean there are crazy folk out there who haven’t read Michael’s books yet – sheesht!) So why don’t you rise to the challenge – I’ve read them all and I’m telling you they are bloody brilliant!

Whatch out for my review of a Suitable Lie coming up on the blog tour at the end of this month! I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
